'Continually adapting to meet new challenges'

Trinity House is a busy company whose organisation needs to continually adapt to meet new challenges. They provide a vital service to safeguard shipping and seafarers around the coast of Great Britain together with reliable navigation services for the benefit and safety of all mariners.

Their main office building in Harwich required modifications in order to provide more useable internal floor space to accommodate their changing needs. External balconies were identified to provide the much needed space.

Key features

  • Modifications to provide more useable internal floor space
  • Construction work phased around a busy occupied building

Following other successful projects for the company Inkpen Downie Architects were again commissioned to provide the design, technical  & managerial knowledge, detailed specifications and to administer the contract during the construction period.

The contract was executed on time and within budget providing the client with their remodelled building to meet their exacting needs.
