Oak Frames Contemporary House
This new house in Maldon, designed by Inkpen Downie, has just been completed. The house, in the grounds of an historic arts and crafts house in the town, is designed to be compact and energy saving.
The green oak frame comes from sustainable European sources and is held together with pegged joints in the traditional manner.
