Plantation Hall, Heybridge Parish Council
Essex Constabulary awarded this village hall the first ever 'Secured by Design' (commercial) certificate. The new building provides improved facilities, access and parking for the local community who were extensively consulted.In line with our commitment to sustainability it is energy efficient and easy to maintain so that running costs are minimised. Natural light is brought into the building from above which reduces vulnerability to vandal attack. Underfloor heating avoids the need for radiators and provides a safer and more comfortable environment, particularly for the elderly and inquisitive toddlers.
