Copella Fruit Juices produce high quality freshly squeezed juices from their plant nestled amongst the orchards of the Dedham Vale, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
When the company became part of Pepsico, Inkpen Downie were employed to create new workshops, visitor reception, office and canteen facilities. The design had been developed in outline already, but we were able to improve its internal layout, provide a more effective reception area and bring in different, higher quality materials and detailing in areas where it mattered most. A planning concern over light pollution was resolved through the use of external timber louvers.
Inkpen Downie provided a range of services including concept feasibility, interior design, and architect services for the shell and fitout stages. During construction we were employed as Employer's Agent in Design and Build Contract, assisting in good cost control and keeping an eye on quality.
