Demolition of existing village hall and construction of new village hall.
The former village hall was no longer adequate for modern day use. A replacement village hall was designed to accommodate the Client needs - including a grand multi-purpose flexible hall, a more functional kitchen, adaptable toilets and level access throughout the building.
"Much appreciated facility creating a vibrant community centre"
The Client approached Inkpen Downie after having a few unsuccessful attempts to design a new village hall, the schemes either failed to meet their requirements and budget or they were not able to obtain planning approval. Inkpen Downie successfully achieved cost efficiency and planning permission without compromising their design.
