Colchester architect achieves Chartered status

Colchester architects Inkpen Downie are pleased to announce that David MacDougall has recently been awarded Chartered Architect status -significant recognition of his years of practice as a registered architect.

Awarded by the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) the chartered status provides a guarantee of quality to clients and recognises the value of the training and experience completed by individual architects.

Amongst other projects David has been project architect for the new teaching block at Colchester Royal Grammar School science block and has overseen projects at Trinity House in Harwich.

Inkpen Downie director Ben Downie said 'It is always a pleasure when one of our team progresses whilst with the company. David should be rightly proud of his well deserved achievement.'
